Our students have an active role on making their experiences their own, which includes empowering, educating, and diversifying our community.

Below is a non-comprehensive list of current and ongoing Hispanic/Latinx student-led clubs and organizations at the University of Virginia. We encourage you to reach out to these organizations as they interest you to learn more information.

Fraternities and Sororities

The Multicultural Greek Council at the University of Virginia is the umbrella organization representing and celebrating numerous cultures on Grounds.

The MGC unifies the goals and ideals of member organizations in relation to the educational mission of the University of Virginia. The MGC cooperates with the members of the Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC), the Inter-Sorority Council (ISC), and the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). The MGC educates the UVA community of Multicultural Greek Council's purpose and the pillars of its organizations.

Currently, the MGC consists of Latin, Asian, multicultural, and local fraternities and sororities. They are:

• Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority. Inc.

• Sigma Lambda Upsilon (Senoritas Latinas Unidas) Sorority, Inc.

Fraternities:

• La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc.
